Dr. Shifrin met with this 35 year old gentleman of Chinese decent. He wanted to change the appearance of his upper eyelids to highlight “Westernized” eyelid characteristics. He specifically wanted a defined upper eyelid fold and an inner eyelid crease next to his nose that was distinct from his natural eyelid curvature. Dr. Shifrin performed an upper eyelid surgery or blepharoplasty in the office procedure room using local anesthesia. He was pleased with his new eyelid appearance.
